My father's family was not happy about his relationship with my mother, who was a Scotish Irish Protestant.
These 25 letters, given to us by Salvatore Puglisi daughter “Lovey”, of correspondence started in 1939 before Salvatore joined the service and continued till past Wars 1945.  Many of these letters are from his wife, Edith, who refers to him as Fred because that is how he introduced himself when they first met on a Circle Line trip. Some of the letters are from his sister, Filomena, who was a Nun, and all four brothers credit her prayers with there safe return home from war unharmed.  There are some letters from others which is mentioned in most foot notes, but not all.
